Robert Helenius has came in as a late notice replacement for Dillian Whyte against Anthony Joshua, in a match scheduled for 12 at the 02 Arena, Greenwich.
Firstly, Helenius’s most notable win, arguably, was against Adam Kownacki, who was an undefeated prospect at the time.
Anthony Joshua’s last outing was against Jermaine Franklin, an American prospect whose only loss was to Dillian Whyte at the time.
Lets look at KO percentages, Anthony Joshua has a KO percentage of 78%, which includes the following opponents: Klitschko, Povetkin, Takam, Pulev etc. Robert Helenius has a KO percentage of 58%, against opponents such as Erken Teper and Adam Kownacki.
Helenius was stopped by both Gerald Washington and Johann Duhaupas, neither who are at Joshua’s skill-level or have his punching ability.
Joshua’s attitude has declined recently, but is still close to his physical prime at 33 years-of-age, Helenius is 39 years-of-age.
Finally, my prediction for this fight is that Joshua wins in under 6-rounds; someone may also want to pick the fight to end in within 6-rounds for either fighter. I think it’s unlikely that Helenius defeats Joshua, but it’s not impossible.
