Hopey Price vs James Beech Jnr – My Prediction

Undefeated Prospect Hopey Price will be challenging James Beech Jnr tonight at the Sheffield Arena, Price is ranked #69 according to BoxRec. James Beech Jnr is ranked #215 at the time of writing this article.

The fight is scheduled to go 10 rounds.

Price has a KO percentage of 30% within 10 fights, so isn’t a prolific puncher.

Beech currently has a record of 15(2)-4(2)-0, his previous fight was a TKO loss to Nathaniel Collins.

It is worth noting, that all of Beech’s TKO defeats have been against southpaws, Hopey Price is a southpaw.

Collins currently has a 50% KO percentage, which is substantially better than Price’s 30%.

Furthermore, Price is 23 years-of-age, so has a lot of time to improve, and will eventually develop his man-strength which I don’t think he has already done so.

James Beech Jnr is 26 years-of-age, so is close to his physical prime; with that being said, I don’t think this gives him a physical advantage.

Beech has won just 10% of his victories via TKO/KO, so is a lesser puncher than Price.

Finally, based on the fact Beech can be stopped, and has been stopped by Southpaws before on two occasions; I am picking Hopey Price to win by TKO/KO against Beech.
